Haunted House!
The Chateau Nottebohm (also known as Kasteel van den Heer Nottenbohm, Château de M’Nottebohm, Chateau Cheval, Chateau Maria ter heide and others) is down a long drive way off of Brasschaatbaan 32-34, in the municipality of Brecht, province of Antwerp, Belgium.
GPS: 51.3244,4.554769
This castle was build as a cottage house for a rich family in 1908. During World War II the germans stayed in the castle. In the fifties the building was used as a hotel and restaurant but after that it stayed empty and nobody cared about this gorgeous fairytale castle hidden in the woods. Until urban explorers discovered it again and put photos of this magic place on the internet. Film director Tim Burton is making a movie about a creepy foster home based on this castle. The interior is totally destroyed so it was too dangerous to go in, but still this is one of my favorite locations ever!
